(2)一些人將傍晚所食之餐稱為 tea，尤其當這不是他們的正餐時，或者是為小孩子們準備的餐食時。

（2）在三餐前加 for，同樣可以表示去某地進餐或者邀請某人同自己一同進餐。

• I invited her to join us for dinner that night.

三餐前一般不使用定冠詞 the，例如，不說 I haven’t the breakfast yet. 或 he had a sandwich for the lunch。但可以使用 my, his, her 這類詞。
